In case of disputes between attorneys-at-law and their clients there is a possibility to apply for alternative dispute resolution with the regional chamber of attorneys-at-law (Rechtsanwaltskammer) pursuant to § 73 para. 2 no. 3 in connection with § 73 para. 5 federal rules for attorneys (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO) or with the arbitration board of attorneys at the Federal chamber of attorneys-at-law (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer) (§ 191f federal rules for attorneys (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO)) that can be found via the website of the Federal chamber of attorneys-at-law (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer) (www.brak.de or via email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de).
